The Modern Art Tour –
This tour visits two of Berlin’s most significant exhibition spaces for modern art: the Hamburger Bahnhof and the Neue Nationalgalerie. The Hamburger Bahnhof is distinguished by its fantastic collection of 20 and 21 century art. Works by Duchamp, Beuys, Warhol and Twombly belong to its permanent collection. In addition, there are always visiting exhibitions of contemporary art, such as the current display of minimalist work from the Flick collection, “Fast Nichts”.
The Neue Nationalgalerie is also a world class exhibition space. The hugely successful “MOMA in Berlin” exhibition took place here in 2004. There are always contemporary international artists on display. Please ask us in advance for information about the current exhibitions taking place in these two venues. |
